Cartagena is located in the southeast iberian peninsula of Spain, with a big bay delimited at the east part by Cape palos and at the west by by Cape tinoso.

To the north you will find Murcia and Torre Pacheco, to the south the miming area of la union and to the west Fuente alamo and Mazarron.

Cartagena's natural harbour is the main one of the region of Murcia.

The field of Cartagena occupies an extensive plain with the Mar Menor, San Pedro del pinatar, Los Alcazares, San Javier, Torre Pacheco, La Union, Fuente Alamo and Mazarron. Cartagena and el pilar de la horadada in the province of Alicante.
