professional vehicle polisher!

Hello, Do you have a beautiful vehicle with a not so beautiful painted surface where the car wash has left a non factory pattern on your panels, or has the sun and sea water faded your colour to a dull and milky looking mess ?

Then Wheel smart can help you out. http://www.rentawreck.co.uk/index.php?o ... &Itemid=56

What's the difference between a professional polisher and a waxer ?

A professional polisher has the ability to apply polish (any abrasive compound) with enough energy to correct paint defects (surface scratches, swirl marks, water spots, etc.).

On the other hand, an electric waxing machine, often called a "car polisher", generates enough energy to distribute wax, but won't make corrections.

If you want to maintain the shine on your vehicle, or remove common paint defects, including oxidation, water spots, insect damage, swirl marks and minor scratches, Wheel smart can help!

BOATS, TRUCKS, CARS, MOTORBIKES, CARAVANS, AIRCRAFT, Just about anything with a painted surface!

The polish we use reduces drag on aircraft and saves the owner on fuel costs by up to 5% per year.

the horny french man!

Smart Arse!!!!

Two businessmen in Cardiff were sitting down for a break in their soon-to-be new shop...

As yet, the shop wasn't ready, with only a few shelves set up.

One said to the other, "I bet any minute now some pensioner is going to walk by, put his face to the window, and ask what we're selling."

No sooner were the words out of his mouth when, sure enough, a curious old woman walked to the window, had a peek, and in a soft voice asked, "What are you selling here?"

One of the men replied sarcastically, "We're selling arse-holes."

interesting spain

The official nomenclature of Spain is the Kingdom of Spain. Spain is located in Southern Europe and has two enclaves, territories surrounded by other countries in North Africa. The origin of the names Espania and Spain is said to be rooted in the Roman name 'Hispania'. Here are some interesting facts about Spain.

Spain is bound by the Mediterranean Sea on the south and the east. It shares it borders with the Bay of Biscay on the north and is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean to the west. It's terrestrial borders are shared with Morocco, Gibraltar, Andorra, Portugal and France. Spain is the largest of all the sovereign states making up the Iberian Peninsula.

The Iberians, Basques and the Celts were the original inhabitants of Spain. It became a part of the Roman Empire in 206 B.C. It was later ruled by Visigothic rulers, Muslims, the Franks and the Christians.

In the 1600s, Spain ruled the entire Iberian Peninsula, a number of Caribbean Islands, most of central America, South America and parts of North America. The Spanish Empire, as it was known then, also included Austria, parts of France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.

Spain is the country nearest to Africa. Spain has contributed a lot to world history and culture. In ancient times, the Pheonicans traded with Spain for minerals. When Spain was ruled by Islam, it was famous for its learning. Cordoba in Spain became the global centre for studying literature, philosophy, medicine and science. Eusaska, the language spoken by the Basque population, is one of the oldest living languages in the world. The Basque people live in the Pyrenees in North Central Spain.

Spain has been instrumental also in the discovering of places and other important landmarks in the extension of the globe. Ferdinand Magellan, a Portuguese explorer was the first to complete a circumnavigation of the globe. He was financed by Spain.

Christopher Columbus was financed by King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, who then ruled Castille and Aragon in Spain for his journey to America. Spanish Explorers also have claimed a number of countries in the early sixteenth century. Francisco Pizarro invaded Peru, while Pedro de Mendonza colonized Argentina and Hernan Cortes annexed Mexico.

The Spanish have contributed a lot towards literature as we know it today. Ernest Hemingway wrote the famous novel 'For Whom The Bells Toll' about the Spanish Civil War. 'Don Quixote', which is considered by some to be the first modern novel, was written by the Spanish Miguel de Cervantes. The oldest known Spanish poem is about the Eil Cid, an eleventh century hero from Castille.

Today, Spain is an constitutional monarchy consisting of a parliament with two legislative chambers and a hereditary monarch. A council of Ministers is presided by the President of Government for the executive branch, whereas the legislative branch consists of a Congress of Deputies. The President of Government post is equivalent to the post of a Prime Minister in other countries.

The Congress of Deputies consists of three hundred and fifty members, all of them elected by popular voting. They serve a four year term. The Senate in the legislative branch is consists of two hundred and fifty seats. Two hundred and eight seats are elected by popular vote, whereas the other fifty one are elected by the regional legislatures. They serve a four year term.

Spain is the eighth largest economy in the world. The purchasing power parity as of 2006 is estimated to be more than one thousand billion dollars. The real growth rate as of 2005 is estimated to be about three percent. The purchasing power parity per capita is about twenty six thousand dollars.

COST OF SPENDING A PENNY IN ALMERIA

Anyone now caught in the act is liable to a fine of 150 euros

During the first six months of the year Almeria’s Local Police have collected 4650 euros in fines from members of the public caught urinating in the street. This amounts to 3 times the amount collected during the same period last year.

The vast majority of offenders were caught in the area around la plaza del Educador, Puerta Purchena and las 'Cuatro Calles' where residents say the constant smell of urine is disgusting.

One individual told us that he is fed up of members of the public using the area as a latrine. A police spokesman said said they relieve themselves anywhere that takes their fancy with no regard whatsoever of those people who live locally. It can be up against somebody’s house, in doorways, arcades, plaza’s, anywhere in fact that is convenient to them.

Neither do they seem to have any regard for other people who might be passing, often not even having the common decency to turn away.

The spokesman said that anyone now caught in the act is liable to a fine of 150 euros. Indeed a number of offenders who have appeared before magistrates have recently been ordered to return to the area with buckets of bleach and water to clean up the mess they have caused.

MURCIA.
With the same financial ruin because of the scarcity of public, which on Tuesday was held on Sunday the second and last bullfight of Cieza Bullfighting Fair.
This time made up the poster on rejoneador Sergio Galan, Salvador Cortes, who did double in this cycle, and Javier Benjumea. It was a run on plywood grappled San Marcos, just lackluster presentation and for their behavior. Secondly, a hat of Torrehandilla grappled.
The gentleman Sergio Galán was not successful in the approach of his first work.
Excessive capotero greeting by his helper and the two excessive punishment spears the bull no strength left for more. Rejoneador Lack of view of Madrid, because when the first iron nail was already known that the bull would not be able to withstand another.
So, the bull burst and had to be female. " With his second was brilliant, gorgeous curdling a task in which he left the club and rightly leaving the embroque adorned with brilliant dressage exercises. After he walked back rejonazo two ears.

The second of the afternoon was returned after the jab at the request of Salvador Cortés because "supposedly" the bull did not see. Two bulls a knacker's yard in less than five minutes. What a way to charge the National Party, and from inside, it hurts more.
Fortunately, from there the afternoon it began to soar and the second was a Salvador Cortés in another attitude. Seville's most dedicated faced this enrazado Torrehandilla hat of a complete work, mainly based on the bullfighting calendar. Lying and fatally stab the animal, which was applauded in the trawl, quickly fell. Cut off his ear after notice.

With the fifth searched the link, but the lack of animal strength made it difficult the task. With the steel was not successful, leaving the entire thrust the fifth attempt. Greeted by a standing ovation. For its part, accused the short Javier Benjumea baggage that carries this season. The young matador faced first bull to attack a dilapidated and without class.
After a tentative first round took his crutch with his left hand, but the wind and conditions were not favourable opponent.
He played three times and greeted by a standing ovation. His task to show that closed square and did not look bad. It seemed the best bull of San Marcos and estimable Benjumea passes left with bias. The boy was sung together and got a trophy. Finally, the rejoneador left shoulder just for the front door.

Golf Balls ..

A man entered the bus with both of his front pockets full of golf balls and sat down next to a beautiful blonde.

The puzzled blonde kept looking at him and his bulging pockets.

Finally, after many such glances from her, he said, "It's golf balls".

Nevertheless, the blonde continued to look at him for a very long time, deeply thinking about what he had said.

After several minutes, not being able to contain her curiosity any longer, she asked...

THE AUSTRALIAN APPROACH

A young Aussie lad moved to London and went to Harrods looking for a
job.

The manager asked 'Do you have any sales experience?'

The young man answered 'Yeah, I was a salesman back home in Dubbo.'

The manager liked the Aussie so he gave him the job.

His first day was challenging and busy, but he got through it.

After the store was locked up, the manager came down and asked, 'OK, so
how many sales did you make today?'

The Aussie said 'One!'

The manager groaned and continued, 'Just one? Our sales people average
20 or 30 sales a day.

How much was the sale for?'
'£124,237.64p.'

The manager choked and exclaimed £124,237.64!! What the hell did you
sell him?'

'Well, first I sold him a small fish hook, then a medium fish hook and
then I sold him a new fishing rod.'

'Then I asked him where he was going fishing and he said down at the
coast, so I told him he would need a boat, so we went down to the boat
department and I sold him that twin-engine Power Cat.'

'Then he said he didn't think his Honda Civic would pull it, so I took
him down to car sales and I sold him the 4 x4

The manager, incredulous, said, 'You mean to tell me...a guy came in
here to buy a fish hook and you sold him a boat and a 4x4?'

'No, no, no... he came in here to buy a box of tampons for his lady
friend and I said...

'Well, since your weekend's buggered, you might as well go fishing.'

Thomas The Tank Engine‏

mother was working in the kitchen, listening to her five-year-old son playing with his Thomas the Tank Engine set in the living room.

She heard the train stop and her son saying, 'All of You b*****ds who want off, get off now, 'cos we're in a hurry! And all of you b*****ds who are getting on, get on now, 'cos we're going down the tracks'.

The horrified mother went in and told her son, 'We don't use that kind of language in this house. Now I want you to go to your room and stay there for TWO HOURS.
When you come out, you may play with Thomas, but I want you to use nice language.'

Two hours later, the son came out of the bedroom and resumed playing with his train. Soon the train stopped and the mother heard her son say,
'All passengers who are disembarking the train, please remember to take all of your belongings with you.
We thank you for travelling with us today and hope your trip was a pleasant one.'

She hears the little boy continue,

'For those of you just boarding, we ask you to stow all of your hand luggage under your seat. Remember, there is no smoking on the train.
We hope you will have a pleasant and relaxing journey with us today.'

As the mother began to smile, the child added..........

'For those of you who are pissed off about the TWO HOUR delay, please see the fat controller in the kitchen.

really bad day...

Even when you're having a really, really bad day...

Someone will still screw you!

hypocrisy of the West.

This is the hypocrisy of the West.
They protest about the Japanese killing the whales.
What about this? Look for yourself, they are discriminating
against Asians. The rest of the Western World seems to
be blind and dumb.
Is this is okay?? See for yourself.
We don't hear about this in the news at all.

Please send this on, this is serious cruelty.
Denmark is a big shame.

The sea is stained in red and it is not because of the climate effects of nature. It's because of the cruelty of the human beings (civilised human) who kill hundreds of the famous and intelligent Calderon dolphins.

This happens every year in Feroe Island in Denmark . In this slaughter the main participants are young teens.
WHY?
A celebration, to show that they are adults and mature!

In this big celebration, nothing is missing for the fun. Everyone is participating in one way or the other, killing or looking at the cruelty supporting like a spectator

Is it necessary to mention that the dolphin Calderon, like all the other species of dolphins, it's near extinction and they get near men to play and interact.
In a way of PURE friendship

They don't die instantly; they are cut 1, 2 or 3 times with thick hooks. And at that time the dolphins produce a grim cry like that of a new born child.

But he suffers and there's no compassion while this magnificent creature slowly dies in its own blood

Its enough!
We will send this mail until this email goes around the world that many more people will know about this shameful Danish acts.

Take care of the world, it is your home!

err! nice livery! Amusing

Kulula is a low-cost South-African airline that doesn't take itself too seriously.
Check out their new livery!

WHAT A PITY KULULA DOESN'T FLY INTERNATIONALLY - WE SHOULD SUPPORT THEM IF ONLY FOR THEIR HUMOUR - SO TYPICALLY SOUTH AFRICAN.

Kulula is an Airline with head office situated in Johannesburg . Kulula airline attendants make an effort to make the in-flight "safety lecture" and announcements a bit more entertaining. Here are some real examples that have been heard or reported:
On a Kulula flight, (there is no assigned seating, you just sit where you want) passengers were apparently having a hard time choosing, when a flight attendant announced, "People, people we're not picking out furniture here, find a seat and get in it!"

---o0o---

On another flight with a very "senior" flight attendant crew, the pilot said, "Ladies and gentlemen, we've reached cruising altitude and will be turning down the cabin lights. This is for your comfort and to enhance the appearance of your flight attendants."

----o0o---

On landing, the stewardess said, "Please be sure to take all of your belongings.. If you're going to leave anything, please make sure it's something we'd like to have."

----o0o---

"There may be 50 ways to leave your lover, but there are only 4 ways out of this airplane."

---o0o---

"Thank you for flying Kulula. We hope you enjoyed giving us the business as much as we enjoyed taking you for a ride."

---o0o---

As the plane landed and was coming to a stop at Durban Airport , a lone voice came over the loudspeaker: "Whoa, big fella. WHOA!"
---o0o---

After a particularly rough landing during thunderstorms in the Karoo , a flight attendant on a flight announced, "Please take care when opening the overhead compartments because, after a landing like that, sure as hell everything has shifted."

---o0o---

From a Kulula employee: " Welcome aboard Kulula 271 to Port Elizabeth . To operate your seat belt, insert the metal tab into the buckle, and pull tight. It works just like every other seat belt; and, if you don't know how to operate one, you probably shouldn't be out in public unsupervised."

---o0o---

"In the event of a sudden loss of cabin pressure, masks will descend from the ceiling. Stop screaming, grab the mask, and pull it over your face. If you have a small child travelling with you, secure your mask before assisting with theirs. If you are travelling with more than one small child, pick your favourite."

---o0o---

Weather at our destination is 50 degrees with some broken clouds, but we'll try to have them fixed before we arrive. Thank you, and remember, nobody loves you, or your money, more than Kulula Airlines."

----o0o---

"Your seats cushions can be used for flotation; and in the event of an emergency water landing, please paddle to shore and take them with our compliments."

---o0o---

"As you exit the plane, make sure to gather all of your belongings. Anything left behind will be distributed evenly among the flight attendants. Please do not leave children or spouses.."

---o0o---

And from the pilot during his welcome message: "Kulula Airlines is pleased to announce that we have some of the best flight attendants in the industry. Unfortunately, none of them are on this flight!"

---o0o---

Heard on Kulula 255 just after a very hard landing in Cape Town : The flight attendant came on the intercom and said, "That was quite a bump and I know what y'all are thinking. I'm here to tell you it wasn't the airline's fault, it wasn't the pilot's fault, it wasn't the flight attendant's fault, it was the asphalt."

---o0o---

Overheard on a Kulula flight into Cape Town , on a particularly windy and bumpy day: During the final approach, the Captain really had to fight it. After an extremely hard landing, the Flight Attendant said, "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to The Mother City. Please remain in your seats with your seat belts fastened while the Captain taxis what's left of our airplane to the gate!"

---o0o---

Another flight attendant's comment on a less than perfect landing:

"We ask you to please remain seated as Captain Kangaroo bounces us to the terminal."

---o0o---

An airline pilot wrote that on this particular flight he had hammered his ship into the runway really hard. The airline had a policy which required the first officer to stand at the door while the passengers exited, smile, and give them a "Thanks for flying our airline. He said that, in light of his bad landing, he had a hard time looking the passengers in the eye, thinking that someone would have a smart comment.

Finally everyone had gotten off except for a little old lady walking with a cane. She said, "Sir, do you mind if I ask you a question?"

"Why, no Ma'am," said the pilot. "What is it?" The little old lady said,

"Did we land, or were we shot down?"

---o0o---

After a real crusher of a landing in Johannesburg , the attendant came on with, "Ladies and Gentlemen, please remain in your seats until Captain Crash and the Crew have brought the aircraft to a screeching halt against the gate. And, once the tire smoke has cleared and the warning bells are silenced, we will open the door and you can pick your way through the wreckage to the terminal.."

---o0o---

Part of a flight attendant's arrival announcement: "We'd like to thank you folks for flying with us today.. And, the next time you get the insane urge to go blasting through the skies in a pressurized metal tube, we hope you'll think of Kulula Airways."

---o0o---

Heard on a Kulula flight. "Ladies and gentlemen, if you wish to smoke, the smoking section on this airplane is on the wing.. If you can light 'em, you can smoke 'em."

---o0o---

A plane was taking off from Durban Airport . After it reached a comfortable cruising altitude, the captain made an announcement over the intercom, "Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. Welcome to Flight Number 293, non-stop from Durban to Cape Town , The weather ahead is good and, therefore, we should have a smooth and uneventful flight.. Now sit back and relax... OH, MY GOODNESS!" Silence followed, and after a few minutes, the captain came back on the intercom and said, "Ladies and Gentlemen, I am so sorry if I scared you earlier. While I was talking to you, the flight attendant accidentally spilled a cup of hot coffee in my lap. You should see the front of my pants!" A passenger then yelled, "That's nothing. You should see the back of mine!"

BEWARE - Police warning when driving.!!‏

This is not a joke originator was at a UK crimewatch meeting on 18th and the police requested this was sent out.
(Even though this is regarding the UK, best keep it in mind incase this sickness transpires here too!!)

Worth Passing On!
This is happening now!

Sad, especially if you are inclined to 'help' people...

While driving on a rural end of the roadway on Thursday morning, I saw an infant car seat on the side of the road with a blanket draped over it. For whatever reason, I did not stop, even though I had all kinds of thoughts running through my head. But when I got to my destination, I called the Police and they were going to check it out. But, this is what the Police advised even before they went out there to check....

"There are several things to be aware of ... gangs and thieves are now plotting different ways to get a person (mostly women)to stop their vehicle and get out of the car.

"There is a gang initiation reported by the local Police where gangs are placing a car seat by the road...with a fake baby in
it...waiting for a woman, of course, to stop and check on the abandoned baby.

"Note that the location of this car seat is usually beside a wooded or grassy (field) area and the person -- woman -- will be dragged into the woods, beaten and raped, and usually left for dead. If it's a man, they're usually beaten and robbed and maybe left for dead, too.

DO NOT STOP FOR ANY REASON!!!

AND REPORT WHAT YOU SAW, BUT DON'T EVEN SLOW DOWN.

"IF YOU ARE DRIVING AT NIGHT AND EGGS ARE THROWN AT YOUR WINDSCREEN, DO NOT STOP TO CHECK THE CAR, DO NOT OPERATE THE WIPER AND DO NOT SPRAY ANY WATER BECAUSE EGGS MIXED
WITH WATER BECOME MILKY AND BLOCK YOUR VISION UP TO 92.5%, AND YOU ARE THEN FORCED TO STOP BESIDE THE ROAD AND BECOME A VICTIM OF THESE CRIMINALS.

THIS IS A NEW TECHNIQUE USED BY GANGS, SO PLEASE INFORM YOUR FRIENDS AND RELATIVES.

THESE ARE DESPERATE TIMES AND THESE ARE UNSAVOURY INDIVIDUALS WHO WILL TAKE DESPERATE MEASURES TO GET WHAT THEY WANT."

Please talk to your loved ones about this. This is a new tactic used. Please be safe.

Get started NOW -- SEND THIS MESSAGE TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND LOVED ONES TO BE CAREFUL AND AWARE OF EVERYTHING AROUND THEM SO AS NOT TO BECOME A VICTIM.

It was ten o'clock in the morning and only some thirty of vegetable stands were in operation and two dozen guests were in the yard sale. The typical low flow in August and early hour was thus limiting to five the number of wounded.

HIPPIES BACK ON NIJAR BEACH

Last week Guardia Civil officers in Nijar received a call denouncing hippies for camping on the beach, building makeshift homes and making fires in the Cala of San Pedro, a beautiful beach in the natural park of Cabo de Gata-Nijar.

The denuncia came from the owner of the land on which this beach is situated, Daniel Navarro. It is actually the 40th complaint he has made to the police, in writing, about the situation.

Last year the municipal government came to the conclusion that something must be done about the matter, but that was as far at they went. A year later, together with the permanent hippies, hundreds of holiday makers camp every night on the beach during the months of July and August. There is even a bakery on site now.

The Mayor, Rodriguez, says that he plans to resolve the matter shortly, and is awaiting cooperation from the new delegate for the Ministry of the Environment, who will begin working in September. He says, “I hope we will be able to sit down together and decide how we are going to resolve this matter.” He says the biggest worry is the hygiene on the beaches.

The only way you can reach this cove is either a long walk or by boat. It is quite cut off from local services. This is one of the reasons it is so popular with hippies.

U2 BECOME VICTIMS OF SPAIN’S GENERAL STRIKE

Irish rock band U2 have become one of the first casualties of Spain’s planned general strike after they decided to change the concert dates of their 360º tour to avoid industrial action planned for September 29.

U2’s promoters have postponed the concert until the following day, expressing on their official website that the strike would have affected “security services, public transport, cleaning and medical and hospital services,” all of which are integral to guaranteeing that an event on this scale — for up to 70,000 people — takes place without a mishap.

Before arriving in Seville, U2 will visit San Sebastián on September 26. Interpol is the support act in both cities.

News PADDY'S POINT GOLF SOCIETY - RODA

Not a great turnout for our day at Roda but that was understandable due to the workload of some of our members and the very hot weather. The course as always was in good condition and many thanks to all at Roda.

There were some good scores coming in with the usual golfers getting their normal handicap cuts, they are beginning to find their levels making high scores harder to come by. Our handicap secretary Mack "the knife" is happy to be kept busy. After golf we returned to Paddy's Point for the presentation and buffet, thanks as always to bar and kitchen staff.

NTP hole 7 - Stuart Davies
NTP hole 13 - Alan Ostell
Longest Drive - Captain Shaun Murphy
The 2s pot was shared by Alan Condron and Alan Ostell.
3rd place - Ian Comaskey on c/b
2nd place - David McBride
1st place - with an excellent score of 38pts our "little legend" Alan Condron

Alan has taken his golf up to another level now, in the last 12 months his handicap has dropped from 25 to 14. Great for him, but other players take note it has been due in part to the amount of time he spends on the driving range. Perhaps I should join him.

Our next event is at Mar Menor on Wednesday 8th September with the first tee off at 10am, meet at Paddy's Point 08.30am. This event will be for the "Chairman's Putter" trophy. If you wish to join us, guests welcome, please give your name and €20 deposit to bar staff at least 48 hours before the event.

CONFUSION IN MURCIA PASSPORT QUEUES

Many irate Murcians are being forced to spend the first few days of their holidays standing in long queues as Passport offices in the city are completely overwhelmed by the numbers who have left it too late to renew their travel documents.

There are no pre-booked appointments available now until the 7th October, so those who have not booked a slot are having to queue from 5am in the morning, trying to get one of the 60 allocated places for those who turn up on the day.

By 6am, many are already too late, so the queues have been forming earlier and earlier, some camping out on the pavement overnight as their holiday departure date looms ever nearer and others taking pot luck, arriving by 5am to make sure they're in the line, some arriving at 7am in the full belief that there's plenty of time before the offices open at 8.30am, only to find the full days' allocation of tickets has already gone.

As might be expected, tempers have become a little frayed, some people standing there for hours without any idea that only a certain number of tickets are being issued, only to find that the allocation was exhausted long before they even arrived, but nobody had bothered to tell them.

Besieged office staff can only process 8 applications an hour, no more, and with all of Spain on holiday, there simply aren’t the personnel available to draft in more resources and deal with the volumes of applications.

So if you hold a Spanish Passport, and you are planning a journey, check that passport expiry date. Even the British passport processing system is currently taking takes 4 weeks so allow plenty of time and don’t be disappointed.

TOP TWO SPAIN NUDIST BEACHES OR “PLAYAS NATURISTAS”

In 1979, Costa Natura near Estepona on the Costa del Sol – Spain’s first ever nudist beach – was officially opened. Since then nudity has been practised with avengeance, perhaps as an act of rebellion against a repressive society led by a dictator, which the people of Spain had to conform to for many years.

Today there are more nudist beaches in Spain per kilometre of coastline than in any other country in the world and naturists find themselves very well catered for in all areas of the coast.

Here are the top two naturist beaches or ‘playas naturistas’ in Spain:

Vera Playa Natura, Almeria
Vera Playa Natura in Almeria is one of the most famous nudist sites in Europe and has the largest concentration of naturist accommodation and facilities in Spain.

With the Costa de Almeria’s dry and hot climate, this three-kilometre stretch of coastline, designated for being in the buff, makes it a naturist’s paradise and consequently attracts thousands of tourists each year from all over Europe and beyond.

Lake Negratin, Cuevas del Campo, Granada
Negratin is Andalucia’s third biggest reservoir, and with its cosmological landscape accompanied by a ghostly silence, Lake Negratin has an almost eerie magnetism.

This remoteness brings a beauty of solitude to the area, making it the perfect place for nature lovers – in more than one sense of the word. The naturist beach at Lake Negratin does not however have the same accommodating facilities of the coastal nudist resorts.

But this is what adds to the charm of this eight-kilometre stretch of naturism. The solitude and romanticism of the beach is favourable for some to a busy resort.

POLICE UNABLE TO MONITOR UK SEX OFFENDERS IN SPAIN

A spokesman for the Guardia Civil has said that his force is unable to monitor many of the sex offenders who are arriving in the country from the UK. He said that an average year will see approximately one hundred offenders land in Spain and despite the details being passed through Interpol much of it is unable to be used.

A great majority of the offenders head for the Costa’s and despite reinforcements regularly being deployed during the summer months there are still not enough policemen to follow up all the leads. “There is a high risk of re-offending with many of the abusers” he said, “but we just don’t have enough staff and resources to cope. It averages about one a week throughout the year but during the tourist season we receive a request almost daily”.

Spanish authorities said that sometimes the offenders change their name and remain in areas which are heavily populated with tourists and ex-pats.

One of the most notorious offenders to relocate is Tony King. After serving 10 years for sex attacks in London during the 1980s, he changed his name and moved to the Costa del Sol.
He then became known as the Costa Killer and is currently serving a 62 year sentence in Malaga for murdering two Spanish teenagers and attempting to rape another.

Question: Is Cannabis Legal in Spain?

Is cannabis (hash, marijuana, pot, weed, grass) legal in Spain?
Answer: The legal situation of cannabis in Spain is a little more complicated than in other countries.

* It is illegal in Spain to traffic cannabis or to smoke it in public places.

* It is legal in Spain to cultivate or smoke cannabis for your own personal use (as long as it is in the privacy of your own home).

Note that, as anywhere in the world, the interpretation of 'personal use' is open to debate. If a policeman takes a disliking to a group of noisy foreigners, he might use any drugs found on you as an excuse to cause you problems. I would therefore advise against consuming cannabis in Spain.

Having said that, cannabis is often sold openly in the streets, especially in Barcelona and Granada. I have also seen people smoking cannabis outside bars without anyone raising an eyebrow.

Note that Spain's cannabis laws are more relaxed than those of Portugal, France and Gibraltar, so do not try to carry the drug across the border.

Question: Is Nudism Legal in Spain and Where Can you Go Nude in the Country?

Question: Is Nudism Legal in Spain and Where Can you Go Nude in the Country?

Read more about Nudism in Spain:

* Top Ten Nudist Beaches & Resorts in Spain
* Complete List of Nudist Beaches & Resorts in Spain
* Pamplona Running of the Nudes
* Nude Bike Riding in Spain
* Nudist Raw Foodists in Spain

Answer: There are no laws against nudity in Spain - which means that in theory you can go nude anywhere you like in the country.

Whether this means the police would be happy for you to walk in the nude down Las Ramblas is questionable (I have actually seen a pair of protesters walking naked in central Barcelona, but there were no police present to test their reaction to it). But what it does mean is that nudism is widely practised on Spain's beaches.

Because of this, there are no 'nudist beaches' as such, though there are beaches that have come to be known as such through the behaviour of the bathers.

However, the local government in Cadiz, Andalusia, has raised the possibility of fining people caught naked on their beaches, in a move which has raised a number of legal questions:

Aside from this new legal challenge to nudism in Spain, the acceptability of going unclothed in certain situations may also make you reconsider whether you get naked in Spain. You can't just strip off on any family beach. The wrath of an irate Spanish mother is worse than any trouble you could get into from a policeman!

But even the most popular and busy beaches may have an area at one end where nudity is practiced.

Certainly, if a beach is secluded, nudity should be acceptable there.

If in doubt, follow what others around you are doing. Unless you arrive very early in the morning, chances are there will be someone already bathing on the beach where you are - their choice of clothing (or lack of) should help you decide whether it's OK to get naked.

The investigation of Spanair crash give their results in December

The Committee on Accident and Incident Investigation of Civil Aviation (CIAIAC) has released a "progress note" on the Spanair plane crash on August 20, 2008 in Madrid-Barajas airport, which killed 154 people and announced that in December will be the final report. The Spanair plane, an MD-82 JF3022 flight bound for Gran Canaria, suffered the accident at the time of takeoff from Barajas airport, killing 154 people, including 148 passengers and six crew. Eighteen people survived.
The final report was delivered to the parties involved before the end of the year to carry out the arguments as they think fit the story published by the CIAIAC is a new document that is issued two years ago when the plane crash, as progress in the development of research, but adds nothing new to report issued on August 4, 2009. CIAIAC According to the so-called "progress note" refers to a pre-final report is expected to deliver to the parties involved before the end of the year to carry out the arguments as they think fit, and their comments. Once this process is completed may publish the final report on the reason that the McDonnell Douglas DC9 (MD-82) for Spanair, registration EC-HFP, crashed.

Since the Commission notes that it is preparing the draft final report, which must be completed in December 2010, and officially announced that the diffusion is expected other before the final document. As for the details of the accident, CIAIAC it refers to "interim" published on 4 August 2009, which showed a more detailed description of the flight, research to date and the safety recommendations. However, communication affects the takeoff was conducted with an inappropriate and unapproved configuration, being the flaps and slaps (flaps for easy take off and landing) fully retracted. There is also a pointed reference to the previous report that the warning system for improper configuration off (TOWS) with which the aircraft was fitted was not activated.
