Three schools in Murcia are finalists autonomic Action Award Lecture 2010

Three education projects Murcia schools, two class A (Child and / or primary) and a Class B (Secondary School) autonomic finalists have been selected to Action Award Lecture 2010. The award, sponsored by the FAD, the Spanish National Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO and BBVA, with the collaboration in Murcia, as in previous calls, the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment of the Region of Murcia.

In This year there have been a total of 296 entries from schools across Spain, but eventually have been 198 that were considered for the award, since the rest were submitted incomplete or were rejected for not conforming to the foundations of the call. All applications received in Murcia have been valued by experts from the Office of the Master Action Award, FAD experts and technicians from the Ministry of Education Murcia, who have selected this project as a regional finalist in the Award Master Action 2010.

So, with the aim of developing basic skills such as social and civic and competition in information processing, among others, students have to do a research paper to expose the end of each quarter, focusing on the internalization of the values highlighted in each of the women studied.

This project was created with the aim of enhancing the acquisition of basic rules of politeness, modes of conduct, conflict resolution skills through dialogue, respect for others and for oneself, and not by fighting.
This also fosters a positive climate, not only within the center, but in the environment, such as family or society. The activities undertaken include the development of a project logo, video mounts and power-point dissemination of the project with posters, badges and stickers, and the inclusion level of everyday etiquette in social relations within the center and at school.

In Category B the project 'Solidarity Forever' Mediterranean IES Cartagena. This project has market activities such as solidarity, solidarity sandwich, conferences, development of key chains and Solidarity Concert, open to the public through the centers for the amount of entries into the sponsorship of children without resources. A Through this initiative, the center seeks to spread values such as tolerance, respect and solidarity, fighting intolerance and injustice.

9000 Euros for teachers and other school for the Action Award Lecture 2010, organized for the sixth consecutive year by the FAD, the Spanish National Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO and BBVA, aims to reward and publicize educational projects developed Kindergarten, Primary, Secondary or Special Education working specifically the establishment of pro-social values among students such as solidarity, tolerance, gender equality or respect and help to prevent social risk behaviors such as drug use, violence in classrooms or racism, or establish frameworks for collaboration and interaction between school and family. In this edition, for the first time, teachers have participated not only in childhood and primary, but also compulsory secondary school teachers who have developed 2009/2010 school year educational projects promoting social values among students.

The funding for the prize, which is provided by BBVA for each of the categories, will be 9,000 euros for the teacher or teachers and authors of the draft 9000 euros for the school where he developed award-winning experience.
