The Museum of Ethnic Music
The Museum of Ethnic Music , is the fruit of long research trips Carlos Blanco Fadol (www.museomusicaetnica.com.) Since 1970 swept forests , mountains and deserts of countries from all continents contacting ethnic groups that preserve the increasingly rare traditional instruments and music , stories and legends of them dating from the third century BC the twentieth century , spanning cultures of 145 countries on 5 continents.
The instruments are noted for their exotic , authentic and spectacular , featuring such diverse sizes as small clarinet barley stem Belarus, to the huge Chinese drum , which is almost four meters high, including its structure. Most of the collection museum collections are no longer used in their places of origin , being displaced by new trends in music , or reduced to small groups of musicians.
The different sections of the museum offers visitors a varied sample of the musical culture of the world's peoples .
