Top Spanish bullfighter El Juli, was gored in Monday’s fight as part of the San Fermines fiestas in Pamplona.

It happened during his second bull, the fifth of the fight from the Victoriano de Río stud. EFE news agency reports that although he did not collapse after the goring, it was clear he was injured, bleeding slightly from one of his testicles which was left uncovered.

He remained in the ring until the bull was killed and then walked to the surgery where he underwent an emergency operation on his scrotum.
